Factory Evaluation Procedure,quality control,envogue

The following question are to be answered by a factory during an audit :-

1. Is there a Quality Control Manual and /or detailed inspection plans ?

2. Does quality control have authority to stop shipping ?

3. Are current work instruction, procedures, specification etc. readily available to each operation or works personal familiar with them ?

4. Are piece goods are inspected before spreading ?

5. If piece goods are inspected, what grading method is used ?

6. If piece goods are inspected, what fabric tests are completed on the piece goods ?

7. Is the fabric checked for the color and hand ?

8. Are in process audits performed in cutting, on both spreading and cut pieces, based on a predetermined standards ?

9. Are in process audits performed in sewing on each operator on a daily basis ?

10. If process audits are performed in sewing, how many audits are performed each day on each operator ?

11. If process audits are performed in sewing, what is the ration of auditors to sewing operator ?

12. Is there a follow up audition poor sewing operators based on statistical data from the in-process audit ?

13. For a final product audit, is each completed production order audited based on a predetermined sample compliance to specification?

14. For final audit, what sample plan is used ?

15. For final audit, is the order complete before being audited ?

16. For final audit, if the order is not complete, what percentage must be complete before audit ?

17. Are garments measured to assure their compliance to specifications ?

18. Are records of inspection maintained ?

19. Are Inspection station adequate in number and located in adequate areas for an independent, thorough inspections ?

20. Inspection Station: Is the lighting adequate to see soils and other contamination problems?

21. Is any audit or inspection combined with direct labor work? if yes, comment which jobs (example sew, tag, bag and package)

22. Is the final inspection under Quality Control? Please comment on the number of final inspectors ?
